Panama City, Panama. At eight in the morning of January 18, 2019, the pre-World Youth Day celebrations in Claretian Family (WYD 2019 + CF) kicked off with the presentation of delegates, dancing of youth animations, showcase of native dances, and presentation of the winning song-dance for the gathering submitted by the Claretian Youth (JuCla) of Guatemala.
After settling down, the Opening Mass followed around past ten which was officiated by Fr. Artur Teixeira, CMF, General Prefect of Apostolate of the Claretian Missionaries, together with the different spiritual directors and Claretian priests from the different Organisms of the Americas and Asia. The readings were read in two different local languages and in Spanish. After the communion, two young consecrated, RMI and CMF, shared their testimony.
For the record, none of the CMF Organisms from Europe (ECLA) and Africa (ACLA) nor of the other branches of the Claretian Family participated in this WYD in Claretian Family.
